Born in 1978, Ajay has done MFA from Chandigarh and has participated in a number of group shows in New Delhi and Chennai. He has been awarded with ‘Virasat Sanrakshan’ state-level award, and AIFACS state-level award, 2001.Ajay Narayan can be called a fine abstract painter, who, though beginning his art practice with figurative works, integrated into them a lot of play with form, colour and space. His inspiration? Anything and everything around him.
